Ich erinnere mich daran wie Tränen über dein Gesicht strömten, als ich sagte, dass ich dich nie gehen lasse; Als alle diese Schatten fast dein Licht getötet hätten. Ich erinnere mich daran wie du sagtest "Lass mich hier nicht alleine", aber all das ist tot und weg und heute Nacht passiert. Schließ einfach deine Augen, die Sonne geht unter. Du wirst in Ordnung sein, niemand kann dich jetzt mehr verletzen. Komm Morgenlicht, du und ich werden sicher und solide sein. Wag es nicht aus dem Fenster zu gucken, Liebling, alles brennt grade. Außerhalb unserer Tür tobt der Krieg wütend weiter, warte noch dieses Schlaflied ab, auch wenn die Musik fort ist. Schließ einfach deine Augen, du wirst in Ordnung sein.

feathers are meant for the sky
I'm a phoenix in the water, a fish that's learnt to fly. And I've always been a daughter, but feathers are ment for the sky. So I'm wishing, wishing further for the excitement to arrive. It's just I'd rather be causing the chaos, than laying at the sharp end of the knife. With every small disaster, I'll let the water still. Take me away to some place real. 'Cause they say home is where your heart is set in stone. Is where you go when you're alone, is where you go to rest your bones. It's not just where you lay your head; it's not just where you make your bed. As long as we're togheter, does it matter where we go? So when I'm ready to be bolder, and my cuts have healed with time.. Comfort will rest on my shoulder, and I'll bury my future behind. I'll always keep you with me, you'll be always on my mind.
